The journal welcomes submissions in the following areas: musical analysis, historical musicology, interdisciplinary studies (including the relationship of music to politics, gender, and nature), as well as popular and vernacular music.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The main sections of the journal are:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Research Articles<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Book Reviews<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Media Reviews<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Each issue may also include roundtables, interviews, and essays. Given the journal\u2019s online format, it is also possible to publish videos, audio files and lecture recitals, as well as conference presentations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Articles are published online on a rolling basis as soon as they are ready. At the end of each year, the issue is closed and all articles published during that year are compiled into a single volume and issued in print.
